OUR MISSION
Recovery In Color was founded to celebrate addiction recovery for all people of color. Our mission is to support people in recovery and those seeking help by providing resources that center our experiences as BIPOC people and champion solutions that have helped many thousands of us achieve long term recovery.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Founder
Recovery In Color was founded by Kimberly J. Miller, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with over 36 years of recovery from drugs and alcohol. She is the Program Director of Summit Integrated Services, an addiction treatment center that specializes in programming for BIPOC clients. Her professional career includes teaching, business training, leadership development, DEI, and strategic planning in the public and private sectors across the US and overseas. As an LADC, Kimberly has applied her experience as a recovery sponsor and group leader with clients from diverse backgrounds in urban and rural Minnesota.
